Prepare fuel evidence for review
This guide prepares evidence questions. It does not issue an attestation, approve a batch or convert fuel into a CORSIA Eligible Emissions Unit. CORSIA fuel claims and cancellation of eligible offset units are distinct processes. A voluntary registry entry does not by itself establish an accepted CORSIA fuel claim.

Claim route not selected
No valid positive quantity supplied. No unit or conversion is assumed.
1. Supplier identity and source checks
Record the exact legal unit, site, certificate, scheme and relevant period. For an ISCC supplier, keep your manual observations from the separate certificate, exclusion and certification-body sources. Resolve mismatches with the scheme or issuing body.
Record manual supplier checks ↗ (new tab)2. Fuel sustainability and certification scope
ICAO requires CORSIA fuel producers to be certified under an approved sustainability certification scheme. Ask the responsible body which current documents cover this fuel, site, production period and lifecycle value. A default calculator or reference checklist cannot certify the batch.
Prepare evidence questions ↗ (new tab)3. Quantities, units and chain records
Record batch identifiers, quantities with explicit units, opening/closing stock, transfers and supporting documents. Reconcile the arithmetic and investigate differences. This worksheet does not establish a permitted tolerance, ownership or chain-of-custody compliance.
Prepare a reconciliation ↗ (new tab)4. Buyer claim and supporting information
Identify the aircraft operator and administering State. ICAO provides CEF supplementary information alongside the emissions report. Ask the independent verifier to assess sustainability, purchase/use records, quantities, calculation and possible overlapping claims against current applicable rules.
Prepare annual reporting inputs ↗ (new tab)5. Responsible review and retained evidence
Keep the source versions, unanswered questions and responsible reviewer. Confirm the applicable scheme, State instructions and submission route before relying on any claim. If a separate book-and-claim programme is proposed, obtain its own rules; do not assume interchangeability or permission to claim twice.
