1. The categories we use
- Essential. Required for the service to function: authentication, session, and storing your cookie preferences. Public content can be read without signing in; blocking session cookies prevents signed-in features from working.
- Optional measurements. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights measure public-page use and performance. They load only after you opt in. Our event filter reduces page URLs to public sections and removes their query strings, fragments and record paths. Custom events and private workspace pages are excluded.
Optional analytics and performance data
These tools are not represented here as an analytics cookie. Vercel describes Web Analytics as using a temporary request-derived visitor identifier rather than third-party cookies; its visitor session is discarded after 24 hours. Measurements can include device, browser, approximate location and referring-site information. Performance measurements include page-loading and interaction timings.
See Vercel’s Web Analytics privacy documentation and Speed Insights documentation. Changing your choice stops subsequent optional events; it does not erase measurements already sent.
2. Cookies and browser storage
| Name | Category | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| __clerk_* | Essential | Clerk | Maintains your signed-in session. | Managed by the sign-in session settings |
| __session | Essential | Clerk | Verifies your session token between requests. | Session |
| bjn-cookie-consent | Essential | Biojet Node | Stores your cookie banner choice (localStorage). | Until you clear browser storage |
3. How to opt out
You can change your choice in two ways:
- Cookie banner. Turn optional analytics off and reopen the choices here. Your preparation drafts are not deleted.
- Browser settings. All modern browsers let you block or delete cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent signed-in features from working.
4. Do Not Track
Where your browser exposes an enabled Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to this page, optional analytics and performance measurements stay off even if an earlier saved choice allowed them.
