How this is assembled · dates, sources and limitations
We read the original Biojet weekly briefs, keep SAF-relevant headlines and group them by transparent keyword rules. Theme labels and watchpoints are automated reading aids—not reviewed conclusions about the sector.
Dates use an article’s recorded publication date where available. Otherwise, the first brief containing it is used and labelled “First archived.” That date is not its publication date or the date of the event. Historical selections are reconstructed from today’s archive, not a guarantee of what was known at the time.
The Africa filter combines literal headline mentions with individually labelled source-context checks. A matched article or institutional statement can support country context without resolving the original archive redirect. Publisher/date discrepancies remain visible; raw links and metadata are not silently rewritten. The outlook uses only checks dated on or before its selected cutoff; retrospectives use checks available as of today.
Repeated and tracking-only versions of the same URL count once, with the earliest collection retained. Different publishers can still describe the same event. Article counts are not event counts, investment totals, production capacity or market shares.
245 non-matching or invalid entries are excluded from this view; 31 repeat links are consolidated. The original briefs are unchanged. Keyword screening can miss relevant stories and cannot verify a publisher’s claims.
The outlook lists questions to investigate; it does not predict dates, probabilities or outcomes. No certification or CORSIA eligibility is established here. Daily collection and complete annual backfill are not yet available. The source-context edition is a draft based on two checked items; a reviewed sector synthesis remains open.
